A small fleet, run properly
Jain Travels has been renting vehicles out of Jodhpur since 1998. We started with a couple of buses running pilgrimage groups to Nakoda and Ranakpur, and the business grew the way these businesses do — one family telling another.
Today the fleet runs from a Swift Dzire up to a Volvo multi-axle coach, and covers Rajasthan as home ground with regular runs into Gujarat, Delhi NCR and Madhya Pradesh. What has not changed is who answers the phone.
We are not the cheapest operator in Jodhpur and we do not try to be. What we sell is the boring part: the vehicle turns up, the driver knows where he is going, and the bill matches the quote. Nobody chooses a travel company for its website — they choose it because that happened last time.

Six things we will not compromise on
The quote is the price
Tolls, parking, interstate tax and the driver's allowance are itemised before you commit. Nothing gets added on the last day, and nothing is left vague so it can be argued about later.
Maintained, not just washed
Every vehicle goes through a documented check before it leaves the yard. Permits, fitness and insurance are current. Ask for the papers and you will have them the same day — schools do, and we would rather everyone did.
Drivers who know the road
Which gate to drop at. Where a 45-seater can actually park near a crowded shrine. Which stretch is worth avoiding after dark. That knowledge is not in any itinerary document, and it is most of what you are paying for.
Two drivers overnight, always
Any journey running through the night carries two drivers. It costs us more and it is not negotiable. One driver covering Jodhpur to Delhi overnight is unsafe, whoever is offering it.
We will tell you the cheaper option
If a tempo traveller does the job a coach would do, we will say so. A booking we talk you down on is worth more than one you regret.
One number to call
For weddings and multi-day tours you get one coordinator for the whole job, not a different driver's number each morning.
Home ground, and beyond it
Rajasthan is home ground — every district, every temple town, every fort. Beyond it, our all-India tourist permits mean we go wherever the trip goes.
