How is vehicle rental priced?
On the kilometres run, with a minimum daily running, plus the driver's allowance. Typical minimums are 250 km per day for cars and tempo travellers and 300 km for coaches — the vehicle is committed to you for the day whether you cover 80 km or 280 km. Tolls, parking and interstate taxes are stated separately in the quote so you can see exactly what each element costs.
Do you publish fixed rates?
No, and we would rather explain why than pretend otherwise. The same route costs different amounts depending on the season, the vehicle, whether it is a one-way drop or a round trip, and how many days the vehicle is held. A published rate would be wrong for most bookings. Send your dates and group size on WhatsApp and you will get a written quote, usually the same day.
Is fuel included in the rate?
Yes. The per-kilometre rate includes fuel and the driver. What sits outside it is tolls, parking, interstate permits and any entry taxes — all of which are listed in your quote before you commit, not added afterwards.
Do we need to pay for the driver's food and accommodation?
No. That is covered by the driver allowance already included in your quote. You should never be asked to hand cash to a driver for meals or a night halt — if that happens, please tell us.
How far in advance should we book?
For the October to March season, and especially for wedding dates, three to four months ahead. Outside the peak, two to four weeks is usually comfortable. Same-day and next-day bookings are often possible for cars and smaller vehicles — call rather than message if the trip is imminent.
