Fourteen of us did Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur over six days. The tempo traveller was clean, the AC actually worked in the desert, and our driver Bhanwar ji knew exactly which gate to drop us at in every fort. He also talked us out of a hotel we had shortlisted, which turned out to be excellent advice.

They handled transport for our entire four-day wedding in Jodhpur — three shuttles running between two hotels and the venue, plus the baraat coach. Not one guest was left waiting. The coordinator picked up every single time I called, including at 1 a.m.

Booked for a 30-person team offsite. Vehicle arrived fifteen minutes early each morning, invoicing was clean with proper GST, and there were no surprise charges at the end. That last part is rarer than it should be.

The Urbania is a completely different experience from a normal tempo traveller — quiet enough to hold a conversation at highway speed. Worth the difference in rate for the Jaisalmer run. Sunset at Sam was the highlight of our year.

Jodhpur to Somnath, Dwarka and Palitana over eight days. They were upfront about the interstate taxes in the original quote, so the final bill was exactly what we had agreed. No renegotiation halfway through, which we have experienced elsewhere.

Took a group of thirty-eight for ziyarat at Ajmer Sharif and then on to Pushkar. The driver knew exactly where to park and where to have us reassemble afterwards, which sounds minor until you have tried to find thirty-eight people in that crowd.

The Scorpio was the right call for the Jawai tracks — a sedan would have struggled. We did not see a leopard on the morning drive but got a superb sighting at dusk. Jain Travels were honest upfront that sightings are never guaranteed, which I appreciated.

Six days, Jodhpur through Jaipur and Agra to Delhi, on the Volvo. Reclining seats and air suspension make a real difference on the long legs — a group of retired colleagues who normally complain about road travel did not complain once.

Used them for a full day of Jodhpur sightseeing with visiting relatives — Mehrangarh, Jaswant Thada, Mandore, the clock tower. Fair rate for the day, no meter games, and the driver waited patiently while my mother took her time at every stop.
