What this website is, and what is agreed when you book a vehicle with us.

This website is not a booking system
Nothing on this site completes a booking or takes a payment. Prices, distances and drive times shown here are indicative and are there to help you shortlist a vehicle. A hire exists only once we have sent you a written quote and you have confirmed it.
Quotes
A quote sets out the vehicle, the route, the dates, and what is included — fuel, driver allowance, tolls, state permits and parking are itemised so you can see them. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. If the trip changes materially — extra days, a longer route, a bigger group — the quote is revised before the trip rather than adjusted afterwards.
The vehicle
We allocate a specific vehicle class, not a specific registration number. If a mechanical problem takes a vehicle off the road, we substitute one of the same class or better at no extra cost. If only a smaller vehicle is available and you accept it, the difference is refunded.
Drivers and driving hours
All hires are with a driver; we do not offer self-drive. Drivers observe legal rest periods, and overnight running is staffed by two drivers. A driver may decline to continue on a road or in weather they judge unsafe, and we will support that decision.
Your responsibilities
Please give us accurate passenger numbers and luggage volume — a vehicle sized on wrong information may not be able to carry the group. Smoking, alcohol consumption and any illegal activity in the vehicle are not permitted. Damage beyond ordinary wear, and cleaning beyond ordinary use, are chargeable at cost.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and amendment terms, including any deposit, are stated on your written quote and depend on the vehicle and the season. Tell us as early as you can if plans change; the earlier the notice, the less it costs.
Delays outside anyone’s control
Road closures, weather, protests, breakdowns and traffic can move an itinerary. We will get you there and keep you informed, but we cannot guarantee arrival times, and we are not liable for onward travel booked separately — allow a sensible margin before flights and trains.
