Khichan
Thousands of demoiselle cranes descend on one village, every winter.
From late August to March, Khichan hosts one of the great wildlife spectacles in India — demoiselle cranes fed daily by the villagers at a purpose-built chugga ghar. Best at sunrise, and worth the early start.
