Rann of Kutch
A white salt desert to the horizon, best under a full moon.
The Great Rann turns to hard white salt after the monsoon dries out, and the Rann Utsav runs a tent city at Dhordo from November to February. Permits are issued at Bhirandiyara on the way in.
